Working at Google [2010]

This is Google, in Moutain View, California - home of the most extreme office in the country.

We have everything you can imagine, everything takes care of us, and much healthier, happier for it.

And it all goes down to Google's main Headquarters - AKA - The Google Flex - One Gaint Funhouse.

When I first meet the founders, I walked into our office and found Larry Page on Rollerblade and started grand dancing around on a physio ball and I knew this is no normal standard company.

Testing understatement - spending over one million square feet  - the Google Flex is two and a half times the size of gaint stadium, comprises of sixteen buildings which has thousand of employee who were lucky enough to work here, and just like the the campus, the pug are endless.

If you open your eyes, it's hard to understand.

One of the most crowded in pug, that would be the food.

The food here is part of our culture variety of restaurants serving all sorts of different styles of food from top of small plates or ethic food, Indian to South American. That's right, instead of your typical little lunchroom, google has typical eighteen different coffee serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The food is incredible cause there's something in action, and the best part  - all the meals are free.

That's right - Free

What could be better than a free lunch, free barbecue.

In the summer, Google takes it outside for some serious grilling but if that doesn't get your mouth squandering, how about this?

One in the Cafe call the Cafe One:Fifteen, everything from there comes from within one hundred and fifty miles from Google, sould delicious, healthy, dynamic and locally friendly food. And if eating locally is Ego, friendly, Google takes it a step further, cuz they grow there own food - right on campus.

Our employee are excited at the cafe that serve Google strawberry and key-line Google pipe but even that's not enough free food for these employees because Google make sure that rhere are unlimited munchies within a few feet of everyone desk.

We are about fourty feet from where I sit in my desk and unlike our avarage wookplace, Google provide more than and old coffee pot and creamer - they hook it up fancy Java style. It's all on the house.

I get up to my desk quite a bit to get me going.

But if people feel like they've had too much to eat, Google got the part to take care of it.

Not one, not two, but four fully loaded Gym, and you guess it, it all free.

[03:04]

Having the Gym here at google is great for me because I help me to transfer marathons, help me to be much healthier, happier and I definitely getting those lunch restaurant it's perfect for getting back to work, getting me so much more productive.

And for those employee to getting for the six packs, Google has personal trainer on site.

It's a great asset having personal trainer here, they really work on the front of you and help keep our work force fit.

After feeling the burn, there's only one thing left to do, get a Massage.

Once a year on their birthday, these luckly Googler get a free rup out, I think that's further today, next shoulder and back.

Feeling sleepy after that, employees can can nap in slepping pad while listening to some relaxing music, still not enough T.L.C. There's also a doctor's office to take care of any pains.

Hi, I am Doctor Bajavi, How are you today? And of course, no doctor's bills.

But Google doesn't just take care of their employees bodies, the company also does their laundry. That's right kubo provides on-site laundromats for their employees dirty clothes. You can show up for your day the back wander of your shoulder for your laundry and ironning wash, go to work, go home with your laundry done.

Doing laundry at the office is the Google transition, founder Larry & Sergey have been pulling this ad for years. It would work for school gara and at the home of friend, they would also did their laundry, we use to complain they would cost more money than utility bills anorexic pay in rent.

I just got out of work, I went to the Gym work out for an hour and then doing my laundry, how cool is that? Where else can you do this, right?

Only at Google.

But even with these amazing pug, sometimes Googler wants to leave their campus and when they do, the company provide the wheels, no these are your average gas guzzlers.

Plug-in phrases and regular phrases, so any one want to check out with the car they just have to use this simple devices the electronic key, and  when you're done, just plug it back in and the car get recharge - get your car, you're better belivie it. And when these lucky employees come back to Google after running some errand, there are only one place left to go. The sleeping pod.

Hold up, we're not done. Because the Goolge Flex in Mountain View in California is just one of the sixty-eight other extreme cooper workplaces around the world.

First up, Belo Hozizonte, Brazil. Here, Google employees can grad a quick nap, not in a nap chair but in a full indoor annex.

Next, Beijing China, in the high-tech dig of Chinh-Hua Sience Park, employees had their chin meetings in being back-chair, and when there're break time, they can hanging out in one of ten micro kitchens playing ping-pong .

But Google most extreme international workplace has got to be Zurich, Switzerland.

Google created this engineering office with one thing in mind - to keep their four hundred employees happy, so they brough in a psychologist to find our what would ratify Googlers. And this is what they came up with. Allowance that has exotic fish in an aquarium full of eighteen hundred and fifty liters of water to corn the mind of these hard workers. Then  there're the Victorian Library for a chance of Scenery so these Googler can feel that that have escaped the office on their coffee break.

And when they want a little privacy, they can go into one of one hundred different parts with themes ranging from a Swiss chalet to a ingulant satelites, moving between floors - why take the stairs when there's this firefall, that's right  a fire-fall.

And for their lunch-break, these fun-loving employees want the quickest way to get to the Cafeteria. The answer - this slide.

Yep, at Google, the pug is out of this world around the world.
